Beanie

I’ll be honest—this is probably the most challenging project on the list. That said, it’s still very doable for beginners! If you’re knitting a beanie, this may be your first introduction to knitting in the round. For crocheters, it can be a great way to learn ribbing. (I definitely recommend looking up both of these techniques if they’re new to you.) Much like the headband, a beanie makes a thoughtful handmade gift during the holiday season. It’s also worth considering that many charities happily accept donated knitted and crocheted beanies.

If you’re just starting out, I truly believe in you. Both knitting and crochet come with a learning curve, but the effort is absolutely worth it. Not only are they wonderful ways to pass the time, but they can also be incredibly therapeutic.
